Jesus is Lord

Romans 6:16 reads, - “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”

To obey the Lord we must revere him in the fullness of his glory.

Is Jesus the Lord of your life? What does this mean to you?

In 1 Corinthians 1:2, Paul writes to the church of Corinth, to those sanctified, set apart in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, he uses the words, "with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:.."

Paul consistently uses "Lord", our "Lord Jesus Christ" in the Epistles.

In 1 Peter 3:15 scripture says, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;" (NKJV)

The NIV reads, "but in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.."
