The Power of Grace

“Shall we continue to sin, that grace may abound?” Paul answers this in Romans 6 with an emphatic “God forbid!” By no means! Now way! The grace of God is not a license to sin but exactly the opposite! It’s the believer now empowered from the inside to manifest and walk in accordance to God’s desired righteousness and holiness. By grace, we uphold the law. (Romans 3:31)

This undeserved grace we have received teaches us. It trains us. It creates in us a dislike for sin liberating us from sin’s power. We are delivered by grace to do what is right, what is good, what is pleasing to God - Titus 2:11-13.

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
